| As
a service of our specialty molding operation, Shadow's Ridge
provides insert molding. Insert molding (also known as overmolding)
can be simply molding in threaded brass inserts to parts with
a sequence of two or more overmolding operations. Insert molding
is also used to produce two color or double shot molding for
cosmetic parts such as pushbutton or articles with molded-in
lenses. Another use for insert molding is for overmolding of
elastomers for many uses such as rollers, grips, shock isolators,
etc. |
